I was a wildlife biologist for 45 years, studying all kinds of animals. During that time I was focused on my work and rarely took the time to get photographs of the species I was studying or protecting. Now I am going back and trying to capture the beauty of nature and the uniqueness of each species. I hope my photographs inspire you as much as these species have inspired me over the last 45 years!

dog agility trials
I have been part of the Dog Agility community for almost 30 years. As a former competitor, I know what is hard for the handler and what is hard for the dog - I try to capture those challenging elements from a unique perspective. I also LOVE the "quiet moments", so be sure to look for these at the end of each trials photos!
